New characters are introduced, even if briefly 🤏
This concept of a ruled fight, what’s this? Aren’t you gangs that will do anything to achieve its goals?
I, for one, support Kazutora here kicking the referee in the face. What’s this? On with the fight and I better see dead bodies because you all have been threatening everybody with death. Now time to make good on those promises.

This volume was overall a little weak. I think the plot has thickened a lot with this “back to square one” but we have not given many answers. It feels like we know nothing, at the start of volume 3.
Nothing Takemichi does seems to help out, we’ll have to see if this second changes anything.
Overall I feel the new characters Baji and Kazutora are not well developed. I liked the backstory with the killing of Mikey’s older brother but the hatred they feel for Mikey makes zero sense. They don’t explain it either. Even when asked point blank the explanation is weak and nonsensical. It makes more sense when a new boss appears saying they want to destroy the Toman to take over the territory. But Baji and Kazutora don’t even go there, they just hate Mikey 🤷♂️
