So Ino’s technique could be overcome with just strong will? Meh… The draw was a nice way to end the fight. I hope we see a rematch from these two in the future.
Glad they didn’t show the fight with Tenmari, not only I’m not interested but I think it adds to the secretacy of the sand ninjas. How did she win so easily?
Shikamaru’s fight was fun to watch. His technique is just fun to see and he’s so cunning.
Naruto’s fight… well. Unexpected. The fart I felt it was a cheap joke, not great. But the other stuff, switching out with Akamaru and so on, well done. It’s about time his classmates start acknowledging his potential. He’s growing fast.
We’ve got a nice explanation of how Hinata and Neiji fight. Too bad the match was decided even before it started. At least Hinata gave her best, as one should. The moment all the Jonin instructors teleport to stop Neiji. Amazing. The best, of course, Kakashi… so casual with just 1 hand.
Very solid volume overall, it ends in a nice place. Not a major cliffhanger, which is always appreciated. Looking forward to seeing Gaara fight.
