The old teacher appears from the scroll, nice teleportation technique! Too bad they don’t explain too much how this works. Could it be used to teleport between towns? If so, they would probably already use it rather than walk/run.
C’mon, it is clear as a day that Orochimaru is there, first row, watching everything. None of the instructors can tell but we the readers can? 😂
Interesting how Sasuke is starting to respect Naruto’s power little by little. He now has made it clear wants to fight Naruto eventually.
It’s so strange everybody knows Sasuke has been a bit but no one does anything about it other than telling him “Don’t use the Sharingan”. Just let it be?
Sasuke’s match was a let down until he used a technique he copied. Finally! Make use of the Sharingan you used previously. Love it.
That seal Kakashi is applying, all the writing in his own blood? Better eat a sandwich afterward.
Shino blowing up his opponent’s arms. Excellent. Don’t mess with the quiet and calm ones. The whole insect thing is a little disgusting/creepy but it’s definitely effective.
Even Kakashi felt paralyzed in the encounter with Orochimaru. Is he that powerful? Has to be, though. He’s way more fearsome than the first enemy we saw Kakashi fight for real. Kakashi also needs to step up his game.
The annoying rivals are about to fight it off. I couldn’t care less about them, they are not interesting so far. The flashback was also boring. Nicely played there at the end, such a cliffhanger of a volume. I have no idea what’s going to happen, everything indicates Ino might win it.
