Funny to see how Kiba is rilled up, rooting for Naruto.
The very sad backstory on his family… well… surely I can understand the resentment.
Awesome to see Naruto use the Fox chakra with ease. Neiji, who can see the chakra, is of course peeing himself now.
Am I the only one who finds the illustrations in between chapters (done by Kishimoto’s assistants) just super cool?
Shikamaru is such a fun character to watch, so needed in this overachiever bunch of ninjas. A laid-back personality in this busy world. I love it. The ending was surprising but not so much. He surrendered in the end. I think it doesn’t matter, Shikamaru showed how good he is, and losing might give him a passing grade regardless. We’ve seen during this whole arc how the instructors bend the rules and regulations to accommodate.
This whole Chūnin has been very fun to read, it will be hard to top.
