Bakugo is such an asshole. There is no excuse to be treating Deku this way. Kirishima deciding the match with their biceps 😂 Deku meets Endevor for the first time, and he almost collapses. Balls of steel for him to say that to Endevor, the number 2 (or maybe now 1) hero.
Chapter 38

Impressive panels with the ice and Deku doing a smash with just 1 finger. So intense! The whole chapter is just wow, breaking finger after finger, knowing it will happen and he does it anyway. Todoroki’s power is also awesome, he’s so strong and he’s just getting started.
Chapter 39

Deku landing a hit on Todoroki, how is he not dead? Did he pull the punch? Deku is such a good person. He is about to lose and he will lose because he awakened Todoroki. I think this action should strengthen their relationship. Neither his father nor his teachers helped him as Deku just did. Gotta say the flames don’t look as cool as they did in the anime.
Chapter 40

Deku’s actions are borderline insane, being a hero is always playing smart and not always driven by heart. The last attack with both arms destroyed made no sense. Cool as hell but made no sense. Just surrender and live to fight another day. Endeavor looked like a madman laughing out loud. I want to see where Todoroki goes from here. Hope he gets some spotlight in the series.

Bakugo is not even funny. Shouting “Now die!” to his classmate… 🤷♂️ Iida and Todoroki, I did not doubt a second Todoroki would win this one. New villain unveiled there at the end?

Quick-paced chapter with Tokoyami surrendering before Bakugo. Another match with no surprises. Dark Shadow’s face when defeated, cute with the tears 😂
Bakugo is such a child. He’s very annoying. Quite the hype for the upcoming chapter and the fight between the 2 most powerful characters of the series, so far. I think the tournament has had fair results up to this point. There hasn’t been a match where I thought they did them wrong. Now, for this one, I have no idea. At first sight, I’m team Todoroki. He seems more powerful, and less of an asshole.
Chapter 43

Nice fight but I expected way more. Understandably Bakugo was pissed that Torodoki wouldn’t use the fire side with him when he did with Deku. Indicating he didn’t need to because maybe he didn’t think Bakugo was strong enough to warrant using them? The fight ended too soon. I did like it but it is clear to me that Todoroki would have won easily if he had used his fire side. When he grabs him, he could have burned Bakugo’s hands, easily. Surely this ending might give us more story material than if Todoroki had won (maybe?)
Chapter 44
😂 Bakugo being tied as if Hannibal Lecter. Nice. All Might putting the medal and giving them a hug, good stuff. Everyone going back home, wouldn’t mind seeing some more slice-of-life there. Poor Iida’s brother, let’s see if he makes it. Bakugo, being Bakugo cursing while brushing his teeth… Dude, calm down.
Volume 5

We’ve got some great fights! I do feel we haven’t reached peak chapter. I think we will see better. Or if not better chapters, a volume with even more action. The story progressed quite a bit, especially for Todoroki here. I hope he gets the spotlight in another volume, I want to know more!
