Got the nine volumes for this series from a friend for cheap, so I gave it a try. I think did watch the anime many years ago but never read the manga, nor had any interest.
Don’t get me wrong, volume one was easy to read and fun but not something I’d invest money in having so many other good series in my to-purchase list.
I love how the author says it himself in this first volume, that he enjoys easy to read stories without much thinking. This is exactly it. A fun young and easy comedy about a dude who gets a girl in his hand.
Boobs!?
I found it very surprising they would show panels of the girl’s boobs in several places. I’m more than fine with it but took me by surprise. I don’t think you would see this nowadays in a mainstream manga.
Such a change in just one volume
The main character changes dramatically in just one volume, which is good. I don’t know where the story is going. Will they keep doing slice-of-life moments to then wake her up in the end? Or will they do it earlier so we can get them together for some chapters?
I have no idea but I feel we will have a happy ending, they both dating. Being her his first girlfriend.
We’ll see!
