Kimetsu no Yaiba - Volume 3

The two daemons were quite strong, especially the one with the arrows. Cool to see Tanjiro redirect the arrows using his sword technique (how else?). It certainly didn’t look that much but he broke ribs and a leg. Easy peasy. Biting the sword and crawling to “help” was very much like that One Piece character who wields many swords. That curse that destroys you from the inside if you say your master’s name. Ruthless
Tanjiro is very unique in the sense that he feels bad for those demon who are about to die. Not sure I feel the same way just yet.
Zenitsu could become an annoying character. I sure hope they dial it down a bit. It has some very funny moments but I feel it might be too much.
The boarhead character is intriguing. The double sword with the edges all chipped away, cool stuff! Is he a friend or a foe? Not sure just yet.
Zenitsu’s attack looked a hundred times cooler in the anime, though. He’s so fast, reminds us of Minato from Naruto. The Yellow Flash!
In the end, Tanjiro finished the demon, clean. Zenitsu won over our hearts protecting Nezuko from the boar header dude trying to fight him.
Conclusion
We had very decent fights here. Not much talking and chapters full of action. We got introduced to a new character, even if so slightly and we got to see Zenitsu’s speed. Now he just needs to be a little bit braver.
I don’t think we will have so much fighting in the next volume. Let’s see!
