Kimetsu no Yaiba - Chapter 1

Lots of text in this first chapter, a decent pace, and some action here and there. Nothing outstanding, if I didn’t know better I would be surprised to know this series has gotten so much attention (and an anime adaptation).
The townfolks looked like they were taking advantage of Tanjiro. He gets there, everybody saying “What are you doing here in this storm” and quickly shifts to ask him for favors. I loved the man dropping “Can you help me carry this luggage?” Like… my man, carry it yourself.
The demon slayer seemed to be so strong and strict, and yet he lets them go without killing Nezuko the demon. I guess he didn’t lose his humanity and saw a chance. I wonder if they’ll explain more why is Nezuko, not a full-fledged demon (or is she?) or how can she control herself. Love? Please be it something other than just love for his brother.
