Jujutsu Kaisen - Volume 1

Jujutsu Kaisen - Volume 1

⭐️⭐️⭐⭐⭐

Great world-building in this first volume, the drawing, of course, it’s modern and very shonen. I did read the first volume 0, although the original publication starts with volume 1.

Itadori is a beast, we can already tell his strength is beyond what’s humanly possible.

The first chapter is action-packed and leaves you wanting more. Very well done.

We got introduced to a bunch of characters and it feels rather comical how Sukuna keeps popping up with Itadori like in his hand or face. Itadori is taking all this like a champ.

I could feel Itadori’s and Kugisaki’s excitement about exploring Tokyo. Been there, done that.

When you think the volume might be dying down we got to the last chapters (6 and 7). Just wow. Itarodi loses an arm, fighting against this totally overpowered enemy, and leaves us with the cliffhanger when he switches out with Sukuna. I expect the fight on the next volume to last for a few seconds, with all the hype they’ve given us about Sukuna and his power.

Will buy the next volume, let’s go!
