Chapter 1

Ah, the classical school bullying of course. Too bad he just injured them, and not killed them. Inumaki looks nothing like the anime, the hair! Even the author acknowledges this at the beginning of the volume saying Inumaki and Itadori are in fact different characters. What happened, will he change hairstyle later on in the manga? Or is that something they did just in the anime? Rikka looks amazing, I love we jump straight into action. No BS.
Chapter 2
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A Kanata, this is just fanservice. Fighting demons with a sword is classical and we love it. Inumaki is awesome, to think you could make a character interesting while only giving him lines like “tuna” or “salmon”. Well done. It seems when he throws cursed words he has a price to pay, spitting blood doesn’t seem enjoyable. Loved the fighting scene, the teamwork, the friendship… the cliffhanger with the introduction of the enemy. I want more!
Chapter 3
⭐️⭐️⭐️
So this dude only helps regular people so he can take the curses for his personal gain. I guess it’s a win-win? It’s very bold the enemy simply shows up in the school, chapter 2, let’s fight. Too bad though it was just all talk. Disappointed. I’m also a bit disappointed that Inumaki’s technique was easily evaded? I thought it was a sure thing, hence he was a higher-level sorcerer, and so on. It seems the technique is not as powerful as we thought, or at least doesn’t work as easily on special-grade sorcerers. That last panel with Rika and Yuta, so aggressive. Love it. Overall the chapter had lots of talking, hence the lower score.
Chapter 4

When did he learn to heal others with his curse? The megaphone with the cursed words was awesome. The two cute girls hanging people with ropes, what the heck!? That is dark. The fight between Gojo and the foreigner… if we didn’t know Gojo we would think nothing of it. If you know how powerful it is after watching the anime or reading more manga you acknowledge how the other guy can keep with Gojo. Great swordfight scene there. Not sure what Uzumaki is but if you’re not thinking of Naruto right now, you’re very special 😂 Gojo can’t fight his old friend and this will cause so much pain in the future. If only he had fought him here when he was almost done… It’s the eternal dilemma… Are you strong enough to kill a friend to prevent future massacres? Maybe if Gojo knew what we know he would’ve. I want to believe he would have.

This volume was fantastic.
I know the anime and now I’m starting the manga. I started with volume 0 as the author says this is a prequel but I do not know if the correct reading order would be to start here, though. As there’s barely any explanation on anything, we jump into panels where we might be expected to know bits of the story we haven’t been presented with.
What would be the correct reading order then?
