⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hinata not being marked in the broad attack and still not able to score. Something has got to change here! Time to see where you’re shooting 😉

Yamaguchi as pinch server, he’s about to pee himself. Can’t blame him, first official appearance. In the scene where he steps foot into the court, the anime was way more intense, with visible red flames and a darker atmosphere. The captain, Asahi, and Tanaka all equally scared. I’d be one of them 😂 Funny how failing the serve pumped up the rest.

Hinata is so resilient after failing once, twice, three times… keeps attacking and asking for the toss.

It feels like Tobio lost to Oikawa mid-game when he realized he was not able to bring Kunimi’s potential back then but Oikawa can. Thankfully Hinata was there to call him out and restore focus.

That last attack, the panels got so much love. Thank you for that! You could be somewhat surprised by the end result, but the team was more all-rounded than Karasuno. The individual skills were higher, and everyone was better (maybe except Nishinoya).

I don’t fully understand how Hinata gets so mad. I think it’s both player’s job to score. First, the setter, that he’s not easy read. That his toss can’t be guessed easily, that his attack can not be foreseen easily. Then, of course, the spiker. Hinata should have tried to work around that block, but of course, with eyes closed, that’s not possible. I do think both should apologize.

Yamaguchi’s realization that losing is not fun. Duh. But that’s what I dislike about competitive games where the outcome is all that matters. Contrary to what we do in martial arts where individual growth has infinitely more value than winning a championship (at least for the majority of the practitioners).

They are all blinded by the fact that they lost without realizing they’re growing, they are better than before. They have to keep growing.

Seijo was destroyed by Shiratorizawa, which has got to hurt more to Karasuno. You always hope that the team that beat you takes the crown, the small satisfaction in thinking you lost against the champions. Not this time.
