We finally see the drunken exorcist Shura do something something against Amaimon. Glad to see she was waiting for this and was prepared. The moment “Rin is allergic to Holy Water”, such funny drawings.
Amaimon obviously kicking everybody not named Rin their but. Breaking Koneko’s arm with 1 finger. Rin now, a little bit more grown can almost fight on equal ground with Amaimon. Too bad Mephisto stopped them!
The Paladin shows up. I thought it would take longer to see the strongest member of the order. Shura could do nothing against him. The cat’s out of the bag now, all his classmates know about the flames, satan.
I’m glad the volume closes with Rin somewhat acknowledging Sura and his brother’s skills. He should show a little bit more respect.
I guess this is the arc in which the main character trains and gets better. How far, how fast? We shall see.
I appreciate a lot the drawing hasn’t become sloppy and continues to be great. I want more full-page panels, like the one with Rin drawing the sword and the flames.
