I’m not sure I buy the whole surprise test, to be honest. Surely you get the better out of people in real scenarios but…
I also want to know more about the remaining 2 students, who we haven’t been introduced to.
Do I ship Shiemi and Yukio…? Yes, I do. Too bad he’s her professor. Let’s see…
Good small fight there on the rooftop. Nice moves by Yukio although it has to be Rin, again, who saves the day. He’s so much more grown-up than they think. Being better than the professor, letting himself get hurt so the professor could heal or find peace. It’s shonen alright. It would have been bold for the author if somehow the professor would have died here, stabbing himself against Rin’s sword or something.
I’m not sure if Shiemi has the hots for Rin or Yukio, maybe she doesn’t even know herself.

I like we only had 4 chapters. Please keep the chapters long!
Perhaps not as much fighting as I would’ve liked. I did enjoy the “slice of life” while living together in the dorm. Even if they didn’t expand much on it.
We’re two volumes in and we still haven’t met the full gang in class. Who are the two remaining?
Where are we going from here? Is volume 3 more presentations and context? Or are going to start going on the offensive and chasing demons? Although Rin and Yukio are far away from having enough power to beat Satan or one of his lieutenants.
