The Nakai character bores me a lot. I can’t empathize. I can respect he’s finally told her I love you but… Let’s move on to other characters.
It’s good they push back with the editor. I don’t think the author would blindly follow what the editor says. Everybody has a role. The editor needs to guide but it’s a team, not a dictatorship.
The plan is a little convoluted as (at least me) I’m not super familiar with these other awards. I guess it’s fine to submit and test the waters?
