It definitely felt strange how Takagi was brushing off Saiko telling him he was working on the story (which he was) and that he would have it ready in time… Now we know the truth! Not a shonen story anymore, huh? 😏
The brave thing for Saiko to challenge Takagi’s relationship with Miyoshi, only to be countered by an emotional slap to the face 👋 Saiko and Azuki’s relationship does not make sense, any way you look at it. I think Saiko has realized it when Takagi pointed it out. Nothing new under the sun and I don’t this will change either 🤷♂️
As my mum used to say, stupidity can’t be cured by doctors… 🤦♂️ They haven’t given us any good and valid explanation on why they couldn’t just go out while pursuing their dreams to the fullest. It’s nonsensical, but I can see that plot-wise, it’s a driver for the characters. I just don’t like it 👎
My guess moving forward into volume 4 is the new story will be the best they’ve done yet and even if I’m not sure they’ll get a series, they’ll get high enough to be recognized again.
