Lots of text! When I compare Bakuman to Blue Lock, for instance, it takes me so much more time to digest each page. It’s not a bad thing, they are two completely different stories and one needs more action with less talking, while this one benefits from more context and information 👌
I imagine we’re getting all this exposition at the beginning for those readers unfamiliar with terms around the manga and manga industry. I would imagine this will dial down as we move forward.
Is only me that the whole marriage pact is one of the most absurd things you’ve ever written. Is this the definition of platonic love? Maybe not because they haven’t talked to each other but want to marry each other for the looks? 🤔
