I get a little bit tired of the sideline commentary from the girls (the rich kid, the photographer, and the sister). Not because they are girls but because it’s annoying. As if they knew any better. I’d rather have commentary from the coaches. Kaneda is dangerous, he’s about to take the lead. Our team is afraid and they’re falling under the pressure.

Nice of Kuroda to try to redeem himself after losing the ball before. Show us what got you into the A team (at least for that small period!). Such a cool steal. Too bad Kaneda overpowered him there at the end. Not even Kuroda and Ashito could stop Kaneda. And goal… they took the lead.

What is the coach saying? Are we supposed to know what the hand signs mean? It seems the coach wants to stay on the original plan. Is this wise? Tachibana is starting to get anxious, I get it. He’s playing forward and hasn’t contributed much. Just one play that almost ends in goal, where he failed. We need him to shine. Let’s go.

Tachibana calling for a pass, such a weird face. Very serious. I like he’s falling back to defense and making an extra effort. He has got to compensate for not delivering so far. Nice dribbling! That’s what forward should be doing. Good stuff! Of course, Ashito was there to save the play, again! Now the panel with Tachibana doing a backflip flying, his face looks super odd. Doesn’t look like him at all, how did this panel go through the editor? 😂 Nevertheless, he shoots a missile and we are tied.

The acknowledgement from the coach, priceless. That thumbs-up was so important to him. Wait, this chapter went too fast! Did Ashito just score again? I don’t think so, too rushed or too easy. Would be cool, though.

Offside! Too bad Ashito. So even the opponent coach acknowledges how good Ashito is, not so much in technique but being… the playmaker. I’d love to see Ashito score one in this game. Let’s see. Good cliffhanger with coach Fukuda making an appearance from the distance at the end.

Oh boy, Kaneda scored. This chapter had me turning the pages fast. Our defense needs to be stronger, those two personalities class too much. The coach should see that and give them an ultimatum. Work together or get benched. Will this be a goal? The author knows how to force us to buy the next volume. Such a cliffhanger! I think it is a goal, but if it is… why delay it? I’m trying to scan through the previous pages and I don’t see how Ashito could have made it there. Will he be the one blocking that ball? Not sure

We’ve got a nice volume right here. Packed with action, almost no talking, the way I like it! We haven’t seen any major character development just struggle. At this point, I can’t tell what’s going to happen with this match. Could go either way. I’m more interested in seeing how Ashito will grow in this role of playmaker. Will he realize soon that is his destiny?
